This past May, the Friends of the Library hosted a highly successful sale of recordings discarded by the Mills Music Library. However, hundreds (maybe thousands) of 78 rpm classical records remain from the sale, and these will be given away free to anyone who would like all or some of them. So, here's your chance to own a rapidly disappearing part of the twentieth century. Recordings by such musical giants as Rachmaninoff, Stokowski, Toscanini, Beecham, Casadesus, Gieseking, Schnabel, Koussevitzky, free for the taking. Don't wait! Contact Steve Sundell before September 30.
