Famous Lashua
This clip is "How I Love that Girl," recorded by Famous Lashua (1916-1992). Famous, formerly of Portage, recorded for Four Star Records and wrote many songs, including "Chocolate Ice Cream Cone" (a Top 10 country hit for Red Foley) and "Ghost Trains" (recorded by Vaughan Monroe and Hank Snow). Lashua's favorite was "Little Miss Mischief," a song about his daughter, Melodee Jan. Known as the Singing Cowboy, Lashua played on WIBU radio and many other Midwestern stations.
